A woman in her 90s has died after a house fire in north Dublin

Very sad news.

A woman in her 90s has died in a fatal house fire that occurred at a house in Corballis, Cloghran, Dublin.

The woman was the sole occupant of the house and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fire started at approximately 11.20pm on 12 November.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and at this stage, the incident is not believed to be suspicious.

Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that firefighters from three different stations attended the fire with crews coming from Swords, Finglas and Kilbarrack.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
