A woman and a baby have been found dead at a premises in Dublin on Saturday (8 October).
Gardaí and emergency services attended the house in the Beechfield area of Dublin 15 shortly after 3pm.
The woman, aged in her 40s, and a baby boy were discovered inside the house. Both were pronounced dead a short time later.
The local Coroner and Office of the State Pathologist have been notified, and a Garda Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to liaise with the family.
