Gardaí in South Dublin are investigating the discovery of a body of a female in her 50s.
A statement from An Garda Síochána noted that the body of a woman was found under “unexplained circumstances” at a house in the South Dublin suburb of Killiney earlier today (31 March).
The house where the woman was found has since been preserved for examination.
No further details have been made available.
Gardaí have noted that the course of the investigation will be determined by the post-mortem which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
