Pics: Commander Chris Hadfield has been chilling out over Ireland today

Space is a lonely place, but Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has been keeping himself busy today by taking some truly stunning pics of Ireland.

Chris Hadfield has secured his name as everyone’s favourite astronaut for taking us closer to space than ever before through the medium of social media. Today Chris has been taking some pics of Ireland including Dingle, Brandon, Newry, Sligo and Ballina.

He's recently taken a deadly pic of Dublin. Check it out at the bottom of the page.

Since posting this article, Commander Hadfield has tweeted out a stunning pic of Dublin at night where you can clearly make out the M50. There's a job in photography for him when he gets back down to terra firma.
