Worried about bad Leaving Cert results? Chris O’Dowd has a message for you…

Chris O’Dowd was up bright and early this morning and he had a somewhat reassuring message for Leaving Cert students who might be worried about today’s results.
The Leaving Cert isn’t the be-all and end-all of life and the Roscommon funny man, Chris O’Dowd, made sure to remind worried Leaving Cert students of that little fact earlier this morning, but in a rather odd way.Dear bad Leaving Cert result getters.. At this hard time, remember that @daraobriain, @MiriamOCal & @MichealDH_ didn't go to college either.

In his tweet, the 34-year-old said not to worry about the results, as Dara O’Brien, Miriam O'Callaghan and Michael D. Higgins “didn’t go to college either”. However, all three did, in fact, go to college.
Still, it’s the sentiment that counts, right? O’Dowd made sure to clear up his error with the following tweets…
