Great news for the many burger enthusiasts in Waterford.
While there may not be much good news going around these days, we'll take what we can get at this point.
And we can imagine that the people of Waterford will be particularly happy about the fact that a Wowburger restaurant is opening in the city centre tomorrow (Thursday 22 October).
Though the entire country will be in a Level 5 level of lockdown, Wowburger will be set up in the in The Craftsman Pub, where orders can be made from 12 noon until 10pm seven days a week.
As a result of the latest Covid-19 guidelines, contactless collection will be available at the restaurant.
The new burger spot will also bring 20 new jobs to Waterford.
With over 12 toppings on offer, customers can try exactly 4,096 combinations in their search for the perfect burger.
Susan Bell, Head of Operations said: "As Wowburger continues to grow and expand our dine-in, delivery and collection across the country, we are delighted to have found a perfect home in The Craftsman in Waterford City."
In the past, Wowburger has been listed as one of the best burgers in Europe, so people of Waterford may have their dinner plans sorted for later this week.
