Yes, that’s Mick Wallace rocking a Torino jersey in the Dáil today
We know Mick Wallace is something of a fashion guru and an Italian football hipster and he managed to combine those two passions in Dáil Éireann today.
Pink polo shirts are normally the outfit of choice for the Wexford native when he turns up in Government Buildings but he took it up a notch today when donning the jersey of Serie A side Torino, city rivals of Juventus, the Italian club that Wallace, as far as we’re aware, supports. Or at least he did until now.

Regardless of your opinions on Wallace as a potential footballing turncoat, the Torino jersey is bound to earn him plenty of kudos amongst the football hipster community; all he needs now is the 1994 Jorge Campos Mexico goalkeeper jersey with three-quarter length sleeves and he’ll be guaranteed hall-of-fame status.
Besides, it wouldn’t be like a member of Government to suddenly change their mind on something without explanation, wha?
