Aw man, not again.

On the back of multiple ATMs being ripped from walls with diggers, yet another ATM has been stolen on Irish soil this morning.

According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland for the Causeway Coast and Glens district, an ATM was stolen in the early hours of Tuesday morning (16 April) using a digger. The ATM was located in Market Square, Bushmills, Co. Antrim.

A statement from the PSNI appealed for witness information, and warned that those planning to pass through the area should find alternative routes: “Phone 101 quoting ref 106 16/04/18 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. It is envisaged Market Sq will remain closed for some time. Motorists should seek alternative routes.”

Just days ago, an ATM was stolen in Co. Derry — marking the 12th crime of that nature in Northern Ireland and border counties in recent history. Today’s crime marks the ninth such robbery since the turn of the year.
