World Cup 2022 is underway, so it's time to check in with a quiz, one that unites the Republic of Ireland and Gareth Southgate's mighty Three Lions... well, kind of.
As per the announced England squad for the
FIFA World Cup, there are
nine registered footballers who were eligible to line out instead for the Republic of Ireland. Their loss, am I right?
