The Leaving Cert is well and truly underway. When you took it all those years ago, you probably learned off a whole host of phrases for your oral and written exams.
To this day, I still haven’t felt that same level of satisfaction and relief that I felt when I finally got the modh coinníollach out, but the few phrases that we all had to learn off were paramount.
And we’re not looking for the exact word-for-word translation, just the general meaning of the phrases listed below.
