I can choose to stay and write a really excellent intro for the Pub Quiz, which I usually spend hours poring over and meticulously crafting.
Ensuring that every joke lands perfectly, that the prose rolls along like a gentle ocean ripple, that every piece of punctuation is perfectly placed.
Or I could fuck off to go down the greasy spoon for a fry-up.
I’m doing that.
