Your regular quizmaster is back, but for the last time…
Yes, I am retiring from the JOE Friday Pub Quiz.
Having done well over 100 of these, it’s time to put this old warhorse out to pasture and for some young foals to gallop away into a new meadow of possibilities, while the knackered old trotter gets a bolt gun through the head, and then melted down for glue.
While I can’t promise there will be as many horse metaphors in future editions of the Pub Quiz, I can promise that, with the steady hands of Kyle Picknell and Reuben Pinder at the reins, the quiz will be a runaway horse success.
