There was a time when Japanese food would have been nothing other than something Irish people would hear about on the telly. That’s all changed in recent years however, with more and more sushi restaurants popping up all over the country.
That said, not all of us get to try very much of it. Particularly when you’ve gotten used to ordering food that you can actually pronounce, Japanese food often demands a bit of a leap of faith.
