This is a hell of a team.
The club game has taken centre stage in GAA circles over the last few months with county, provincial and All-Ireland championship games on up and down the country.
So we’ve decided to put a team together consisting of ex-inter-county stars who are still playing with their local club.
Westmeath’s Gary Connaughton is in goal even though he’s recently come out of retirement. However, it’s still unclear whether he’ll play a part this year so we’re putting him in.
The full-back line is as steely and disciplined as you’d find anywhere, and they’d need to be with a very attacking half-back line in front of them.
The midfield has a combined age of 85, the half-forward line is all about flair and class while the full-forward is almost unstoppable.
Let us know what you think.
