We can’t say we’re too surprised.
There are sure to be more cracking goals to come in the remainder of the Champions League this season, but it’ll be hard top Aaron Ramsey’s effort against Galatasaray in Matchday Six.
Ramsey’s stunning left-foot volley against the Turkish side deservedly came out on top ahead of strikes from the likes of Francesco Totti and Cristiano Ronaldo, having been the favoured choice of voters on the Nissan Goal of the Week page.
Thanks to Nissan, Official Partner of the UEFA Champions League, one lucky fan who voted for Ramsey’s effort will be on their way to one of the cracking last 16 ties in the competition, which resumes after a two-month hiatus tonight.
