Come on you boys in green.

It was revealed earlier this week that 275,000 Irish fans applied for just over 26,000 available tickets for Ireland’s three group matches at Euro 2016, so we’re certainly not going to be short of numbers in France in the summer.

All sorts of planes, trains and automobiles will be used by followers of the Boys in Green to make it to the France and for those taking the first option; Aer Lingus had some good news today.

The airline today announced extra flights from Dublin to Bordeaux, with two additional flights set to be added to their daily service on Friday 17 June and Sunday 19 June, either side of Ireland’s clash with Belgium in the city on June 18.

The additional flights will mean an extra 700 seats for Irish fans travelling over to France for the game and follows on from Ryanair scheduling special flights between Dublin and Lille for Ireland’s final group game against Italy on June 22.

The more, the merrier.
