Andy Carroll passes the time by modelling for high street chain H&M

The part-time West Ham striker is the new face of Alexander Wang for H&M.

It’s good to see Andy Carroll keeping busy while he continues his recovery from a knee injury, as he begins his modelling career for Select Models.

The 25-year-old has been signed up to front the new Alexander Wang for H&M campaign while his Hammers team-mates continue their impressive start to the season.

Carroll has not kicked a ball in anger this season and can expect a tough time displacing Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia when he eventually gets himself fit.

It’s alright, though, he’s got a handy nixer.

“I had a good chat with Alexander, turns out we both have a keen interest in trainers and he had noticed the ones I was wearing before I did my shoot,” Carroll told Vogue UK. “I guess you could say we discussed fashion!”

“I don’t think I’m quite ready to take on Becks [David Beckham] yet,” he added.

“I will leave that to him for the time being! I’m going to concentrate on the day job of scoring goals for West Ham and hopefully England.”

Yeah. Good luck with that, big man.
