Andy Carroll passes the time by modelling for high street chain H&M

The part-time West Ham striker is the new face of Alexander Wang for H&M.
It's good to see Andy Carroll keeping busy while he continues his recovery from a knee injury, as he begins his modelling career for Select Models. The 25-year-old has been signed up to front the new Alexander Wang for H&M campaign while his Hammers team-mates continue their impressive start to the season. Carroll has not kicked a ball in anger this season and can expect a tough time displacing Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia when he eventually gets himself fit. It's alright, though, he's got a handy nixer.
"I had a good chat with Alexander, turns out we both have a keen interest in trainers and he had noticed the ones I was wearing before I did my shoot," Carroll told Vogue UK. "I guess you could say we discussed fashion!"
"I don't think I'm quite ready to take on Becks [David Beckham] yet," he added.
"I will leave that to him for the time being! I'm going to concentrate on the day job of scoring goals for West Ham and hopefully England."
