“You had more confidence than our players. You nailed it, didn’t you?”
Ireland rugby manager, Andy Farrell recently caught up with Kilkenny’s singing sensation, Stevie Mulrooney, to gift him a signed Irish rugby shirt.
After being invited to the IRFU’s High Performance Centre, Stevie was welcomed by Andy Farrell, who told the Late Late Toy Show star that he should’ve played for Ireland against Italy last weekend.

Andy Farrell gifts Stevie Mulrooney signed Ireland jersey.
The Ireland manager said to Stevie: “You had more confidence than our players. You nailed it, didn’t you?”
Stevie, as excited as ever, replied saying: “I’m never nervous when I sing, but I was a bit nervous of the crowd, but when I got into song it was just a breeze to go through it.”
Farrell responded: “That’s like the players, you know when the whistle goes and they’re just playing rugby.”
The Ireland coach then asked Stevie if he preferred singing at the Aviva or singing on the Toy Show and there was no competition – it was last weekend.
Farrell then gave Stevie a signed Ireland jersey and told him the player’s absolutely loved his performance.
Let’s hope there’s more to come from little Stevie Mulrooney.
