O’Connell is set to play with the Champions Cup winners for the next two years.
RTÉ Sport has confirmed Paul O’Connell will depart from Munster for French club Toulon.
Earlier today it seemed that O’Connell might not have been moving to the French club after all, with doubts over his shoulder possibly scuppering a move to the French outfit.
However, the deal, which we’ll hear more about in the coming days, is done as the former Munster man has agreed to sign with the big-spending Top-14 side and will link up with the French outfit next season.
RTÉ reports: “Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has confirmed to RTÉ Sport that Paul O’Connell has signed a two-year deal with the French club.”
