As always, Gift Grub has his finger on the pulse of the nation. With rumours swirling that the GAA are about to sell the rights to some games to Sky Sports, the Today FM crew put together this brilliant sketch today.
Featuring a whole host of characters, from the Soccer Saturday team of Jeff Stelling, Paul Merson and Phil Thompson to some of the biggest names in GAA, it really is quite funny.
Jeff’s mangled pronunciation of the likes of Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh’s name, and the dubbing of John Mullane are among our favourite bits but it is all hilarious.
And, we hope, not too accurate if and when the boys from Sky snaffle the rights.
