Wigan prop Ben Flower has been given a six-month ban after his vicious attack during the Super League Grand Final over the weekend.
Flower brutally punched St Helens' Lance Hohaia in the face twice and the RFL have decided that six months is the appropriate punishment for the 26-year-old which means he won't return to action until after April 14.
Flower had been charged with the Grade F offence of 'aggressive punching on an off-guard opponent' during the incident at Old Trafford.
