The jersey has been making waves…

You may have seen earlier this week that Bohemians FC have launched brand new away jersey inspired by Bob Marley.

The jersey has made headlines around the world as well as in Ireland with US magazine Sports Illustrated and Spanish newspaper Marca among those to feature it on their pages.

It’s received a mixed reaction so far but it now has one very significant fan, Ky-Mani Marley, son of Bob Marley.

“This is the dopest shirt I’ve ever seen,” Ky-Mani Marley told BBC News NI. “I love it.”

Well, if Bob Marley’s son likes it, no one else can have too many complaints.

The purpose of the O’Neills jersey is to pay tribute to a Bob Marley concert that took place in Dalymount Park in the 1980s.

A limited supply of the jerseys are available for pre-order here. Bohs expect them to be delivered by the second week of December.
