Bohemians jersey

What a jersey…

If you’re one of the few people in the world who hasn’t seen it yet, here it is in all of its glory.

And yes, that is Bob Marley in the bottom left hand corner.

The purpose of the O’Neills jersey is to pay tribute to a Bob Marley concert that took place in Dalymount Park in the 1980s.

The jersey gathered a bit of a mixed reaction from League of Ireland fans, with some thinking that it’s absolutely class, and others thinking it’s nothing more than a marketing ploy.

Well, if it’s the latter, it’s definitely working.

People from all over the world have been showing interest in the jersey, including one of the biggest sporting publications in the world.

Sports Illustrated posted an article online about the jersey, which is surely the best advertising that Bohs could have dreamed off.

The article, which you can read here, will be viewed by people all around the world.

It has also been featured in Spain’s Marca, and Italy’s Lettera 43.

Not bad for a club from Dublin…

A limited supply of the jerseys are available for pre-order here. Bohs expect them to be delivered by the second week of December.
