Books of condolence open in Munster for the late Anthony Foley

Tony Cuddihy

We still can’t believe it.

As the country continues the loss of Munster head coach Anthony Foley at the age of just 42 over the weekend, books of condolence will open in Limerick City Hall and in various local authority buildings across the province on Monday.

According to RTÉ, flags will be flown at half mast outside Limerick City and County Council buildings as a mark of respect to a man who played over 200 times for Munster before taking over as head coach in 2014.

He was also capped 62 times for Ireland.

Foley died in Paris ahead of Munster’s Champions Cup fixture against Racing 92.
