This is very worrying.
Manchester United’s home game with Bournemouth was due to kick off at 3pm along with the rest of the Premier League’s final schedule of games, but twenty minutes prior to the start of the match, the whole stadium was urgently evacuated.
There is a serious security concern, and a ‘Code Red’ situation has been signalled. All the fans within the stadium were asked to leave as a matter of urgency.
UPDATE:
The match has been abandoned following a suspect package being found found in north east corner of stadium.
