Brian O'Driscoll is none too happy about how his interview with BT was framed this morning

Brian O’Driscoll had a pop at BT Sport and Craig Doyle this morning when they previewed an interview with him by highlighting that match he didn't play in. You know the one we mean. In Australia. In the summer.

This morning, BT Sport tweeted about a forthcoming interview between BOD and Craig Doyle due to be broadcast this evening.

They headlined it  'Brian O'Driscoll on Lions omission' and that framing of the piece wasn't well received by the Irish rugby great. The tweet has since been deleted.

He went on to tweet in a subsequent reply to a fan.

The fact of the matter is that as soon as he was dropped from that Lions game, the focus was always going to be on the next time he came face to face with Warren Gatland. It’s the elephant in the room. It’s a question which has to be asked but we can see why he is p*ssed off with it as the lead into what we assume is a wide ranging interview ahead of a massive Six Nations game.

We only hope Brian is so annoyed that he takes out his frustrations on the Welsh this Saturday at the Aviva.

Check out the latest episode of SportsJOE Live - there is lots of chat about being from Cork, courtesy of Ronan O'Gara and Ashling Thompson. How exactly do sports stars deal with the media, how do the media deal with Ger Loughnane and how does a left-handed Ashling Thompson deal with a right-handed chipping challenge?

Have a look, it's all good.
