As you can imagine, there was one overwhelming reaction to Ireland's World Cup play-off draw
What do you think?
We finally know our opponents. Ireland will face Denmark in the FIFA World Cup play-offs.
It seems only fitting after Ophelia passed over Ireland on Monday after all.
Things could have been so much worse. It could have been Croatia or Italy. In the grand scheme of things, it's the best we could have hoped for.
Ireland will have to contend with Christian Eriksen and Lord Nicklas Bendtner, but we think we can manage those.
We'll face them away in Copenhagen in the first leg and we'll have them in the Aviva Stadium for the return leg. But while this draw is being considered the best we could have hoped for, there's still a lot of work to do to secure those plane tickets to Russia.
You can't blame us for being a little excited though, like, just imagine we'd gotten Croatia...
It’s Denmark, with the first leg away. Literally the best possible draw. Fernando Hierro, we forgive you for that 2002 penalty shootout

Couldn’t have got a better draw. Away first is huge in my opinion.

Denmark away from home first. Carslberg don't do playoff draws... Oh wait! #COYBIG

Best possible draws for #GAWA and #coybig - now let’s see them both invading Russian! :)

Think we got the best possible draw in the playoffs with the second game at home #COYBIG
