After the fantastic UFC event at the 3 Arena in Dublin back in July, UFC fans in these parts have been eagerly awaiting its return to our shores.
Excitement about a potential return has only been increased by repeated suggestions by Conor McGregor and others about a potential event in Croke Park.
This evening, Cathal Pended added his voice to calls for a UFC event at the home of the GAA and his idea about the potential card on the night is one we could definitely get behind.

Such a line-up, of course, is a long way away at the moment and would depend on how both Irish fighters fare at UFC Boston in January.
With a McGregor v Aldo bout already being talked about, however and with Pendred having earlier stated his desire to take on former pro wrestler Punk (Phil Brooks), we can dare to dream, right?
