Same old, same old...

Arsenal's ability to out-Arsenal themselves is reaching the point of hilarity. They've been knocked out in the second round against Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan in recent years and it looks like they're going out at the same stage again. Everyone thought the trend of reaching the second round before petering out would end against a mediocre Monaco side. How wrong they were. Arsenal were pulverised by a Monaco team that had more passion, strength and guile. Poor Arsene Wenger. It must feel like he's stuck in a never-ending cycle of average performances.
