Chicago Town Take Away Slice of the Action: Tim Cahill scores the goal of the World Cup so far
Who said Tim Cahill only scores headers? Good Lord, this is some strike.
When Arjen Robben opened the scoring against Australia in this afternoon, it all seemed set up for a second comfortable win for the Dutch for the second game in succession. Tim Cahill had other ideas, responding to Robben’s strike with a stunning left-foot first-time volley that smashed off the underside of the bar and into the net for arguably the goal of the tournament so far.
Pick that one out.
