Grammy Award-winning singer Cian Ducrot will sing both Ireland and France's national anthems ahead of Saturday's Six Nations tie at the Aviva.
The IRFU announced the news today with a post on social media captioned: “We're excited to have Grammy Award-winning artist Cian Ducrot perform the National Anthems ahead of Saturday's clash at Aviva Stadium!"
The 27-year-old is half-Irish, half-French.
His mother originates from France and he grew up in a very French household in Cork.
Ducrot has even released one of his songs in French called 'Moi Qui T'Aimais Tellement.'
The singer-songwriter burst onto the scene when his debut album 'Victory' reached No. 1 in the UK and Irish charts.
He also headlined Dublin's New Years Eve Festival last year.
This year saw the Cork native land his first Grammy win as the co-writer of R&B megastar SZA's song Saturn.
The achievement makes him the first Cork artist to win the prestigious award.
He is currently on tour supporting Teddy Swims and will open for his 3Arena shows on March 12th and 13th.
Ducrot will sing 'Amhrán na bhFiann', 'Ireland's Call' and 'La Marseillaise' ahead of Saturday's mammoth tie.
Ireland will be hoping to keep their Grand Slam hopes alive with a win over France.
