The Bannermen beat Wexford this evening in Semple Stadium.

Clare are the All-Ireland under-21 hurling champions for the third year in a row after beating Wexford 2-20 to 3-11 in Thurles on Saturday evening.

A late goal from Conor McDonald – added to two strikes from sub David Dunne – could not save Wexford as they were vastly outscored in terms of points, with Clare’s goals coming from full-forward Aaron Cunningham and David Reidy either side of half-time.
