Clare are the All-Ireland U-21 hurling champions once again
The Bannermen beat Wexford this evening in Semple Stadium.
Clare are the All-Ireland under-21 hurling champions for the third year in a row after beating Wexford 2-20 to 3-11 in Thurles on Saturday evening.
A late goal from Conor McDonald - added to two strikes from sub David Dunne - could not save Wexford as they were vastly outscored in terms of points, with Clare's goals coming from full-forward Aaron Cunningham and David Reidy either side of half-time.
Absolute BEAUT of a final! Sad not to be home to see #BGEU21 champs for 3rd year in a row, but so proud to cheer from here. #HonTheBanner
