The press conference for UFC 200 is taking place in Las Vegas and featherweight champion Conor McGregor is noticeable by his absence. Even if ‘The Notorious’ is in Iceland, he’s still making waves in the US because he has just reaffirmed his position to Dana White via Twitter.
McGregor has steadfastly refused to undertake any promotion or publicity events ahead of UFC 200 and while Nate Diaz has already stated that he’s only interested in a rematch with ‘The Notorious’, it seems that McGregor has used this opportunity to remind the UFC bosses that he’s still box-office.
He’s not backing down.
