Stirring the pot…
Conor McGregor has followed up his comments about WWE during a media conference call over the weekend with another cheeky dig at the wrestling business.
The Notorious caused a bit of a stir in Friday’s media conference call for UFC 202 when he provided the following response when asked about potentially featuring in WWE in future.
“For the most part, those WWE guys are pussies, to be honest,” McGregor said.
“They’re messed up p*ssies, if you ask me. Fair play to Brock (Lesnar), he got in and fought, but at the end of the day he was juiced up to the fu**ing eye balls, so how can I respect that? And then what’s the other guy (CM Punk)? The other guy hasn’t fought yet, so I don’t know about him yet.”
Regarding a potential appearance in WWE in future, McGregor added: “I haven’t thought about that, to be honest. It’s a little more show business and this is the fight business.”
McGregor did pay some dues to some legends, or ‘dons’ as he called them, of the wrestling game, saying: “There’s some dons in that wrestling game. The McMahons, they’re dons. Triple H is a don. The Rock is a don. But the rest of them are p*ssies.”
Early on Sunday morning, McGregor addressed the reaction to those comments, but if WWE fans thought he was going to backtrack, they had another thing coming.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.

Zing! Beating around the bush is not his style in fairness.
