JOE thinks that Conor McGregor won’t be happy until he conquers the world and much like the majority of Ireland we fully support him in his efforts to do so

It’s been a busy week for the Notorious, not what the small matter of a comprehensive victory over Diego Brandao, being ranked in the Featherweight Top 10 for the first time, the news of his next opponent in Dustin Poirier and now a book deal.

No rest for the weary eh Conor?

The Dubliner has just signed a book deal with Gill & Macmillan books and it will be entitled, Notorious: My Life in and Out of the Octagon.

The book will be “part memoir, part philosophy in which McGregor reveals the secrets to his incredible work ethic and unshakable belief”, according to the fancy press briefing that JOE was sent.

“We think the world needs something as positive as Conor McGregor’s book” says Conor Nagle, commissioning editor for Gill & Macmillan Books.

“Fans will love to read about Conor’s journey so far, the technicalities of the sport, but more than anything, the sheer self-belief of an incredibly committed man.”

The book will be published in autumn 2015 and JOE is already putting down our deposit.

The way that McGregor’s career is progressing so far we imagine that the movie rights will be snapped up also. Any ideas on who should play him?
