Christ, UFC 205 made a staggering amount.
Dana White has been speaking with the press and we now know that UFC 205 was the biggest box-office that was ever recorded in Madison Square Garden, it’s also a UFC record. In fact, he said that “Jesus would have to fight the devil to break those records”
$17.7 million is a fair chunk of change.
Gate tonight is $17.7 million. That's a UFC record.

The UFC head-honcho also did his best to clear up the ‘missing belt’ fiasco. He said that it wasn’t his responsibility to bring McGregor’s second title to the cage, in fact, Tyron Woodley graciously let McGregor have his belt for that moment.
This incident hasn’t detracted White’s admiration for The Notorious. “Nobody walks out the octagon and said that they want to turn right around and fight again”, he said. White also reiterated his stance that McGregor will have to relinquish one of his titles in the future. Then again, after McGregor announced that he’s set to be a dad, we don’t know when his next bout will be.
Intriguingly, the UFC supremo also mentioned that Croke Park has once again been discussed as a possible venue to host an upcoming UFC event, along with many others. “We talk about Croke Park, we’ve been talking about that forever”
