Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal so sensational, even the Juventus fans applauded
Even by his standards, this was out of this world.
In the era of Messi and Ronaldo, football fans often forget how spoiled we all are to witness the exploits of two of the greatest of all time, to the point where we take their excellence for granted.
Every now and again, however, they pull off feats of brilliance that are extraordinary, even by their own extraordinary standards.
On what was already a historic night for Cristiano Ronaldo, he did it again against Juventus on Tuesday night.
Having given Real Madrid a 1-0 lead away from home in the first half, the Portuguese scored what will surely go down as one of his greatest ever goals midway through the second half when executing the most textbook of bicycle kicks.
Ronaldo has given us an early contender for #UCL Goal of the Week 🔥

It was a goal that caused jaws to drops amongst even the most seasoned of observers…
Seen a lot of great goals in my time but that is absolutely breathtaking from Ronaldo.

OMG. Please, if you do one thing tonight make sure you see Ronaldo’s second goal. His first was awesome. I’ve no words to describe his second.

There is only a few of us who can do that

Even the Juventus fans stood and applauded. How could they not?
In case you’ve forgotten, meanwhile, he had already set a record by scoring in his 10th consecutive match in the tournament.
Oh and that was his 119th goal in the Champions League and his 22nd in quarter-finals alone.
Not bad for a man who was once deemed to wilt on the biggest of stages.
