
Denmark's Christian Eriksen collapses on pitch during Euro 2020 game
Football fans have been left in shock.
Danish footballer Christian Eriksen has collapsed during a Euro 2020 game with Finland.
The 29-year-old Inter Milan midfielder fell to the ground near the left touchline just before half-time.
His teammates formed a circle around him as he was given CPR by medics. He was then taken off the pitch via a stretcher.
A Tweet from UEFA announced that the match has been called off.
It wrote: "The UEFA EURO 2020 match in Copenhagen has been suspended due to a medical emergency."

In a follow-up tweet, UEFA said Eriksen has been transferred to hospital and has been stabilised.
It said: "Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
"The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised."
