Eleven Sports will become the home of UFC in Ireland, and it’s fairly good value

They’re not here to take part, they’re here to take over.

Eleven Sports have announced a new partnership with the UFC in the UK and Ireland.

BT Sport will lose their affiliation with the mixed martial arts company by the end of the year, and Eleven Sports will be the only place that you can watch the fights.

Before you start to panic, this will not come into play until January of 2019, so nothing will change with regards to upcoming UFC cards.

This will be great news to fans of the sport, as there are some massive fights happening really soon.

Nate Diaz vs Dustin Poirier, Tony Ferguson vs Anthony Pettis, and the small matter of Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov will all take place before Eleven takes over.

You can buy a monthly pass for the streaming service for approximately €6.72 per month, or you can buy an annual pass for under €70.

On top of UFC, you will also receive access to a number of La Liga and Serie A games, and some of the world’s biggest golf tournaments.

Sounds good to us.

Danny Menken, Group Managing Director for Eleven Sports spoke about how happy they are to secure this deal, saying:

“UFC has become a massive brand which has built a hugely dedicated and engaged following over 25 years, making it a perfect fit for our fan-centric strategy.”

“We are a big supporter of combat sports across our global markets and the fresh and innovative approach that we have taken with our properties has been very successful. We are looking forward to creating the same added value for the legions of MMA fans in the UK and Ireland”
