You’d have to wonder why…
So far since England’s quarter-final victory over Sweden, we’ve seen their fans thrash an IKEA, fall off of a bus and crash through a bus-stop, and destroy a taxi.
The latest achievement that this small minority of fans can boast is that they have destroyed an ambulance in London as part of their celebrations.
Yep. An ambulance.
Obviously we are chuffed with the result this afternoon but there is absolutely NO excuse to vandalise emergency service vehicles by jumping on them..
This vehicle is now off the road and unable to respond to patients.
We are better than this England…. pic.twitter.com/ZvfG50zjkw— Joint Response Unit (@LAS_JRU) July 7, 2018
We understand that following a win like this that fans can lose the run of themselves, but this is definitely taking it too far.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was urged to contact the National Ambulance Resilience Unit in England.

The ambulance was out of action and unable to respond to patients as a result.
According to Sky News, London Ambulance Service said there was “no excuse” for the vandalism which meant the car was unable to respond to patients after suffering a smashed windscreen and dented bonnet.
England will play against Croatia in a World Cup semi-final on Wednesday 11 July.
