Granted Ireland weren't there, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. The excitement VAR, the screamers, the drama.
It was amazing.
But this World Cup in particular will constantly remind us of the non-stop chants of 'It's coming home', heard from absolutely every single English person we know.
Well, that sort of behaviour hasn't stopped just yet.
A documentary following the England team from their first game until their exit in the semi-final is being released.
