This Premier League race has been one of the closest on record and much will depend on the outcome of the big match of the weekend, Everton v Manchester City.

After last weekend’s match at Anfield, where Chelsea beat Liverpool, the pendulum has swung in the direction of Manchester City and if they can win their remaining three games, they will be champions.

However, they have a pretty dismal record at Goodison Park and have lost on each of their last four visits. If you fancy Everton to make it five in a row, they are available at 10/3, but if City are your pick, they are in the market at 3/4. The draw looks best value here and is available at 14/5.

Southampton v Everton - Premier League

Roberto Martinez (pic above) has gone on record to say that they will be going all out for the win even if it does mean it will help Liverpool. City have been buoyed by the return to fitness of Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero, plus David Silva (pic below) returns to the squad.

The first goalscorer market is dominated by City with Aguero leading the market at 4/1, followed by Dzeko at 5/1 and Negredo at 6/1. Lukaku is Everton’s leading hope in the market at 6/1, but the in form Yaya Toure at 7/1 looks a tasty option. Again, it’s always worth looking at the penalty men and Baines for Everton is there at a whopping 16/1.

Manchester City v Stoke City - Premier League

The half-time, full-time prediction market is hugely popular too and if you fancy City to start and finish strong, the price for them to lead at both half and full-time, is 11/10. For Everton to do likewise, the price is 9/2. If it’s a cagey start and you fancy them to be level at half-time but with City to prevail at full-time, the price on offer is 4/1, if you fancy Everton to do it, you can get them at 9/1.

With both teams looking potent in attack, this game could have a few goals. For City to prevail 2-1 you can get odds of 7/1 and for them to win 3-2 the price is 17/1. If you fancy Everton to nick it 2-1, on the other hand, a result not beyond the bounds of possibility, you can get odds of 12/1.

It’s all very exciting and Liverpool fans everywhere will be cheering on the blues of Everton, at least just for this match anyway.
