The Premier League is back and with it comes JOE’s attempt to turn a measly €10 into over €1,000.
We’re due a good win and we’ve a feeling this week could be our week. If our bet does come in, we have every intention of whipping out the champagne and doing a little jig.
So, without further ado, here are our selections for this weekend:
West Ham v Arsenal, Arsenal to be winning at half-time and full-time 21/10
The Gunners were excellent in the first half against QPR last time out before a certain French striker saw the red-mist. If Olivier Giroud had kept his head, we reckon they would have won by more than one. Besides, isn’t it time that West Ham slide into mid-table mediocrity?
Man City v Burnley, David Silva to score first 4/1
The little magician has been brilliant in recent weeks; setting up and scoring goals galore. We expect him to break the Burnley resistance with the first goal.
Aston Villa v Sunderland, 0-0 scoreline 13/2
We’ve been blessed with goals over the festive period, but if there were ever two teams that seem destined to throw up a nil-all draw it’s these two.
QPR to beat Crystal Palace, 13/10
Palace have sacked Neil Warnock and the Eagles have been on a downward spiral as of late, whereas QPR and Charlie Austin have found a way of grinding out some decent results at home.
Stick €10 on this fourfold and you might get paid well above €1,000. Hell, it would get you over the €2,000 mark… but it’s Christmas and we’re feeling generous with our tips.
