Fermanagh GAA social media guy misses start of a match for the most Irish of reasons
Can you even claim to be Irish if you've never been to an event where someone turned up late because somewhere a cow needed calving?
On Saturday, whoever was running the Fermanagh GAA Twitter account missed the first 23 minutes of the county's Senior Football Divison 1 Final between Devenish and Ederney for that exact reason.
Of course, he informed Twitter of the reason behind his absence and the internet responded with a remarkable interest in details about the baby cow, including one of the most profound tweets we've ever seen: "Bill Shankly said football is more important than life or death, but he didn't have a cow."

Devenish went on to win the match after a last minute point from Barry Mulrone broke the deadlock.
