Floyd Mayweather has a dig at Amir Khan on Twitter, Khan has a jab back

In fairness, that is the only place Khan should want to get a dig off Money…

Once upon a time we all longed for a Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight. Sadly, that bout will probably never happen now and we are left to see who Mayweather, the best in the business regardless of what you think of him, will pummel next on his incredible unbeaten run.

At the back end of last year, British boxer Amir Khan was touted as a possible opponent but the fight never came to pass, probably a good result for Khan, who has shown a bit of a glass jaw at times in his pro career.

Anyway, Mayweather got on with his business, scheduling a fight with Marcos Maidana on May 3 (a fighter that Khan beat on points in 2010).

And overnight he decided to flick out a jab at Khan, suggesting that if he could beat Adrien Broner on the Maidana undercard, he would get a shot at Mayweather.

Khan had a jab back, of course, suggesting he isn’t Money’s biggest fan right now.

The ‘poll’ reference is about a Twitter poll Mayweather ran to pick his next opponent, a poll won by Khan, but as you know, he is fighting  Maidana instead.
