Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight-end, has been indicted by a grand jury on charges that he played a part in a double homicide in 2012.
The murders of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado took place in Boston’s South End in July 2012 while the pair were stopped at traffic lights.
Hernandez is already facing charges in the murder of Odin L. Lloyd in June 2013 – the much publicised case saw him arrested on live television at his home in North Attleborough.
