A great day for Ballyhale and Kilmallock.
Kilkenny and Limerick will be represented in the All-Ireland Hurling Club Final on St. Patrick’s Day after Ballyhale Shamrocks overcame Gort and Kilmallock got the better of Portaferry in the semi-final clashes today.
‘King’ Henry Shefflin featured prominently as Ballyhale overcame Gort by five points in Tullamore, while Kilmallock were too strong for Portaferry in, prevailing by 13 points in Mullingar.
All roads lead now lead to Croke Park for both sides and we’ll find out who’ll be there in the football decider following next weekend’s mouth-watering semi-finals.
