Gallery: Oxford University Women’s rugby team strips bare for 2014 charity calendar

We never thought we’d say this, but our favourite charity calendar so far this year features a team of naked rugby players. (NSFW-ish)

We never thought we’d say this, but our favourite charity calendar so far this year features a team of naked rugby players. It goes without saying, but this is a tad NSFW…

The Oxford University Women’s Rugby Football Club (OUWRFC) decided they’d help out ‘Mind Your Head’, Oxford University’s mental health campaign for their 2014 calendar and what sells better than pictures of tastefully naked women? Nothing, that’s what…

‘Mind Your Head’ was founded in November 2011 with three aims: to raise awareness of mental illness; to fight the stigma associated with it and to improve student mental wellbeing.

The pictures were shot by photographer Mark Barnfield earlier this year and the club’s president, Elizabeth Dubois, said the calendar also had a second mission to confront stereotypical images of female rugby players. “We have girls of all shapes and sizes, and studying all types of academic subjects.”
