Great news for the 18-year-old...
The League of Ireland may be in the off-season but Galway United will need to bring in a new striker after their highly coveted teenager Ryan Manning looks set to join QPR.
Manning played a key part in the Tribesmen's promotion last-season, he scored in both of the relegation/promotion play-off against UCD, but he looks set to join Harry Redknapp's men on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Speaking with
The Mirror he said, "“The two and a half years gives me a bit of time to settle in and hopefully break into the first team,” he said.
“I’ll start with the U-21 team which is their reserve team. I haven’t played in about six weeks, and all of the lads over there are in the middle of their season. I have some catching up to do. In my head I have put the first six months to getting used to everything".
