An awful lot has been said about the quality of Saturday’s All-Ireland hurling final replay but in the final Game of Throw-Ins podcast of the year, the panel continue to wax lyrical about what will go down as one of the greatest deciders of all time.

Considering it’s the last podcast of the year, it’s a bit of a bumper one this week as host Conor Heneghan is joined by Sean Nolan, Declan Whooley and Shane Stapleton (follow him on Twitter @shanesaint) to talk about the game itself as well as what was a fantastic hurling championship and to as just why Shane O’Donnell’s sex life became such a national obsession in the wake of Saturday’s win.

The lads also select their teams of the year and players of the year in both codes and select their own personal highlights in what has been a quite brilliant GAA summer, while in his first podcast for some time, Shane reveals a previously hidden talent for grasping a wide range of dialects, from his own native Tipp to a pretty nailed on version of a Toronto accent, eh.

Unfortunately, the Championship is now on hiatus until next May but in the meantime, thanks for tuning in and hopefully both ourselves and yourselves will be back for a bigger and better than ever version of Game of Throw-Ins next summer.
